Who is responsible
GLP1MealMap.com is published by Neurosmédica LLC, the company behind the FitDoctor brand, on behalf of the author of The GLP-1 Meal Map, Carlos Fernández Ramos, MD. For anything about your data, write to info@fitdoctor.es.
What we do not collect
- No email, no account, no forms. Every printable file on this site is served directly. We never ask for your name, your email address, or anything about your health, your medication, or your weight.
- Server logs. Like any website, the hosting provider records technical access data (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not used to identify or profile readers.
Visit counting: Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to know how many people visit, which pages and downloads they use, and roughly where they come from. This is what lets us keep the site free.
- What it stores: first-party cookies (
_ga, _ga_*) that give your browser a random identifier for up to two years, and usage events (pages viewed, files downloaded, screen size, browser, country and region). IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4.
- Who receives it: Google LLC, as our processor under Google's data-processing terms. We have not enabled Google Signals or advertising features in Analytics.
- How long: event data is kept in our Analytics account for 14 months, then aggregated.
- Your choices: if you are visiting from Europe, a notice asks before anything is stored and “Only essential” keeps the site cookie-free. Everyone can block Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or by blocking cookies for this site in the browser; the site works exactly the same.
Advertising
We plan to show advertising through Google AdSense so the book's companion pages stay free. When ads are shown, the following applies:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, and learn more about how Google uses information at policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), a consent message will ask you before any advertising cookie is set.
- No ad will ever be placed next to a download button or inside the pages that deal with warning signs and emergencies, and no advertising is targeted using health information from this site.
California and other US state residents
We do not sell personal information. When ads are shown, the use of advertising cookies by our ad partners may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under state law; you can opt out through the consent message where it appears, through the Google Ads Settings link above, or by writing to us. We do not knowingly process sensitive personal information and we honor Global Privacy Control signals where our tools support them.
Children
This site and the book are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Links to other sites
Links to Amazon or to the sources cited in the book take you to sites with their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Changes
If this notice changes, the new version is published here with a new effective date.
